Can you show the code that you use while trying to create the directory?

Hi Tobias, I'm very sorry, I finally found that the problem was due to my misunderstanding of Storage and disks: I discovered that my attempts have created a directory, but not where I expected it. I had supplied a path generated as $path = storage_path().'/some/custom/directory' and used this path to create the directory. I have now fully understood the way it works after doing some experiments ... thanks for answering !
