Neither of the links provided by @beaverusiv seems to address the issue.
There seems to be no definitive guide to configuring multiple websites that share a single Laravel installation.
The most promising information I found is on this forum (http://laravel.io/forum/12-30-2014-multiple-websites-with-one-laravel-installation).
I'm surprised that the Laravel developers have not addressed this issue. At a minimum, a clear statement from them of whether a multi-site installation is recommended or discouraged would be helpful. Better yet, documentation of how to set it up would be appreciated.
