Solution

Okay, got it fixed, in the function saveUserData() I'm now using return redirect('/editData') which works. But I'm still wondering how it is possible to display a message like "Data saved successfully"? Somebody can guide me through this?

Got it too, if anybody serches for it, http://stackoverflow.com/a/31728671/5638730 the solution can be found there, quite easy.
