I would suggest doing a few things, one of the most important, backups.

Backups of users uploaded data and data in the database are critcal..

You could also hook into a bug reporting service like Bugsnag or GetSentry GetSentry can also be hosted on your own server, see it here on Github

Other things could be setting up a load balancer so you're not reliant on one server and things like that, seperate application / database servers. Lots you can do.
