Hey! Author of vue-multiselect here. Which version of vue-mutliselect do you use? There is already a new version – 1.0.1, which comes with some breaking changes that could actually help solve your problem.

The most important changes are:

  • deprecating the .sync modifier
  • removing the :on-change prop in favor of @update event

Please refer to the new documentation here http://monterail.github.io/vue-multiselect/

If for some reasons you can not upgrade to 1.0.0+, just remove the .sync and add a line to the fetchProductDetails method.

fetchProductDetails (newSelected) {
  this.products_selected = newSelected
  ...rest of your code
}
