you can add roles in users table. e.g role(stud,teacher,parents). and you can create a filter for that like:

Route::filter('isAuthorized', function()
{
	$user = Users::find(Auth::user()->id);
         if($user->role != "student"){
              return Redirect::to('/');
          }
         ....
});
