I have same problem. i'm using windows 7 32bits.

in my work worked in windows 64bits! in home nothing!
you tried to check the BIOS if your processor has VT-x technology enabled?

This processor has no VT-x technology. Is that the reason why the virtual machine is not working?

finally! i solved my problem with connection timeout! :)
My windows was 32bits. i changed to 64bits!
