Apparently falling back to homestead 2.2.1 helps with the missing commands - but then it requires PHP5 environment and 'vagrant up' tries to install laravel/homestead 0.3.0 box, even when I have 0.4.4 already present.

I don't understand this, it used to be a breeze to set up new Laravel environment, now it's such PITA.

It says it in the homestead docs.

The Laravel docs for 5.0 5.1 5.2 for homestead all say this.
