You are better of not making a site mostly ajax, rather use jquery ajax to auto fill fields, and things like that.
For example in a trucking co. you have fields for shipper. You could have a popup table with shippers, select the correct one, and have jquery and ajax fill fields such as shippername, shipperaddress, shipperphone, etc.
Other than that use models, views, and controllers the regular way.
The site streams music so all the content needs to be loaded via AJAX to maintain the content streaming.
